By popular demand we will be having our Photo Meetup at the Point Reyes Shipwreck on October 29th. We will be meeting on Saturday, October 29th at 9:00 am at the Point Reyes Shipwreck but don’t worry, timing isn’t critical. Please join us for great views, inspiration, conversation and a model shoot! Also we always have a picnic. So bring a lunch with something you can share. The sponsors will provide some light sandwiches and water. Bring your own soft drinks. As this event has grown in popularity, this year the event has picked up some additional sponsors, besides the gallery, the event is being sponsored by my partner in all things photographic, Shaun Samuels Photography and some guy who calls himself @thewizardofhdr.

The Point Reyes Shipwreck is located behind the Inverness Store at 12784 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, Inverness 94937. (If GPS or Siri are guiding you take the route through Kentfield. You will see when you enter the address.)  Park at the rear of the Inverness Store parking lot. Follow the trail toward the water and look in a Northerly direction. You will see the wreck and probably people there.

In the afternoon we will move over to the Cypress Tunnel, about ten minutes away, another iconic location. This event has been growing and, surprisingly, has quietly become one of our most popular events of the year. Photographers, painters, picnickers and anyone who wants to be inspired by two of the most iconic locations in the Bay Area are welcome to come. I want to emphasize painters are welcome. It is a great place for Plein Air painters. This year I am inviting Nancy Roberts and the Contra Costa Plein Air group to join us. It is a real opportunity for painters and photographers to exchange ideas.
