Donna Cooper started beading at age 11, sold jewelry parts and beads at 15, and started selling diamonds at age 17. A great interest in gemstones and metal formation increased with a few years in Geology training. After many years of selling jewelry, my interests changed to teaching the art of beading and design to others. Contra Costa County Library System has held my classes for over ten years.
I find that there are so many different forms of beading and jewelry, that every artist has a different presentation of style. With all the experience that I have acquired, I find that I can still learn and teach something new.
