Friday, June 9, 12:30 - 2:30 pm
For Adults age 18+
Workshop fee: $40
This course is designed for artists and non-artists of all levels. Students use their iPhones or iPads and their fingers to make two to three works of art based on a working theme/model provided by the instructor. The number of models that will be completed will depend on how much time students will need to create their art.
At the end of the class, students will be expected to have two to three digital images in their device that they can then work on even further, or print them out on their own, or e-mail to their friends.
Students must bring their own iPhone or iPad to the workshop. A stylus is optional. Instructor will have a limited number of regular styluses on hand for students to use in class if needed.
Students should have a basic understanding of using an iPhone or iPad and purchase the app “ArtStudio - Draw and Paint" by Lucky Clan, available from the Apple app store for $4.99.

Why digital art? Our smart phones today are with us all the time. If you have an interest in making digital art that you can print and frame for your home or office, then learn how to use your iPhone or iPad as a portable art studio -- no mess with paint, brushes or fumes.
If you like to sketch a picture but can only take it so far, this class will teach you to colorize and make "brush strokes," turning your sketch into artwork.
