Brentwood Art, Wine & Jazz Festival
August 25, 26 & 27, 2017
Call for artists: Brentwood Art, Wine & Jazz Festival, Aug 25, 26 & 27. Click on the button above for details. Here's a note from Mary Lamb:
1) I want everyone to put this year's Art, Wine and Jazz Festival (AWJF) on their calendar. It is returning to City Park; back under the trees in historic downtown Brentwood! And it has expanded to include Friday night as part of Brentwood's Starry Nights Concert series. Dates are Aug 25, 26 and 27. Come, have fun and volunteer if you can. Art Guild of the Delta shares in the proceeds from the event based on volunteer hours.
2) Consider joining fellow artists in the Artist Garden! This is a great opportunity to sell your artwork. Not only has the AWJF moved to the shady park but the Festival is opening on Friday night to capture a new audience of Starry Night attendees. So those of you that are interested can set up and exhibit on Friday evening from 5 to 9 pm as well as Saturday and Sunday. Opening for Friday night is optional. The concert crowd is anticipated to reach 3000. That's good exposure and there is no increase in the entry fee (AGD members pay $250) for the added event time. Check out the attached packet for all the details. Apply now, but no later thanJuly 15th.

Delta Gallery has room for new artists!
This gallery in the Streets of Brentwood Shopping Center is a collective operated by the Art Guild of the Delta. Exhibiting artists are AGD members, pay a monthly rental fee for their display space, work a minimum of two 5-hour shifts per month staffing the gallery, and pay a commission on sales. Exhibits rotate every 3 months.
Click on the "Gallery Participation Details" button to open a document outlining participation requirements and the artist's contract form.
The next exhibit opens July 9. Prospective artists are interviewed and their work is reviewed by a committee for acceptance. If you'd like to make an appointment to have your work reviewed, please e-mail Assistant Gallery Manager Carol Ligon at firstname.lastname@example.org.
